GMP Storage is where it all started for us
Back in 2008, ClinStorage was founded by Ola Camber and Sven Jacobsson, both of them with a long history of drug development at pharmaceutical companies such as Pharmacia, AstraZeneca, and numerous other pharmaceutical companies. Working with drug development and as CMC consultants they realized that GMP storage was scattered amongst many different service providers e.g., CMO companies, but no one differs this as the main service.
More and more companies asked us if we can act as Importer of Record, we listened to that and got our GDP certificate from the Swedish MPA back in 2014. As the company grew, we understood that we could help our customers with more services that are both complex and time consuming. We hired more people with additional skillsets and in 2021 we applied and got certified to provide services such as secondary packaging, and labelling. This we do in conditions from -20°C, +5°C to room temperature.
Batch certification by a qualified person of IMP is our most recent added service. The granted application was divided into two waves. The first certification we were granted is to batch release IMP from third countries, and the second which we were granted in March 2022 is for IMP produced within the EU as well. ClinStorage can now help you release your drug product for a clinical trial regardless if it is sterile products, non- sterile products, or biological medicinal products.
